Festival to flood Cut-off with relief
The needs of hundreds of Tunica County residents have risen with the waters of the Mighty Mississippi River and crested Monday, May 9, when an idea bubbled to the surface.
That day John Mohead, a local business owner, began spearheading an effort to help the residents of the Tunica Cutoff affected by the flooding. By Wednesday, May 11, plans were in place for the High Water Music Festival on Saturday, May 21, in Tunica.
