Luke 24: 13-35

Let’s begin with the assumption that nothing in the Bible is there by accident.  We might disagree as to whether the Bible was dictated by God or inspired by God.  We might argue over whether every word in the Bible is absolute truth, or that some parts use poetic license.  We may not agree whether the Bible is scientifically accurate or not.  We’ll certainly never agree on which translation is the most correct.  What we can agree on (I hope) is that whatever made the cut as the Bible assumed its final form is there for a purpose.
