Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Workman of Sledge announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Katrina Lauren, to Brett Hamilton Alred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Alred of Marks. The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Workman, Jr. of Sledge and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Parker of Crenshaw.  The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Alred of Marks and Mrs. Mildred Fairley and the late Douglas Fairley of Greenwood.
