“I Am”

“I AM!”  At the burning bush, Moses asks God what name he should give the Israelites to prove that he has been sent to be their leader.  The King James Version gives the full translation of YHWH (the Hebrew) as I AM THAT I AM.  A more recent translation is I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE—which makes more sense to me.  God can be whatever God wants to be—and wherever, and whyever and however.  I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE covers the whole territory of a God who is in charge of everything because this is the God who created everything.
