Passing the Buck
Genesis 3:1-13
This is the story of the fall.  The serpent tempts Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.  She knows she shouldn’t, but it looks so good, and the serpent says it won’t really hurt anything.  “Besides,” the serpent tells her, “God didn’t tell you the complete truth.  When you possess the knowledge of good and evil you’ll be just like God.  That’s why the fruit has been forbidden.  God doesn’t want you to be as smart as God is.”
