Special friendship blossoms after loss of loved one
Friendship is something no one can predict. Some friendships are formed on the jungle gym in elementary school trying to see who can get to the top fastest, some are made in the classroom on the first day of college when no one knows what to expect, and some are made at the funeral home in your hardest hour.
That’s right, no one else expected it either. But for Katie Stroud, Scott Peoples, 35, of Memorial Funeral Home, was a blessing in disguise when she lost her mother in December of 2010.
