Event offers forum for candidates
Day in and day out, law enforcement agencies across the nation fight the war on crime. On Aug. 1, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department will bring to light their efforts and rally community support with a National Night Out Against Crime event at the G.W. Henderson Rec Center.
Neketta Dean of the Tunica County S.O. stresses that the event is open to everyone community wide. She reports that the night will include many fun and informative activities, as well as refreshments. It will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., and citizens are invited to drop in for all or part of the event.
