Town takes up noise, clothing
With a unanimous vote, the Board of Aldermen agreed that from now on, residents must “keep it down in town.”
On Tuesday, Aug. 16, officials amended an existing ordinance on noise control. Previous regulations called for quiet in the town limits between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. and “at a distance of 50 feet.” The vote removes the set hours and distance elements.
