We have lots of quilts at our place, some that both of my grandmothers made, a couple that Charles’ grandmother made, and several that Charles’ mother made for us.  So when I saw this recipe, it caught my eye because it sounds like it would look like a quilt!  The recipe comes from a friend’s church cookbook; I know it will be good.  Charles would love it because he really likes marinated vegetables.  Maybe I will make it for the Labor Day weekend.
