Lions claw back into win column
Rosa Fort quarterback Calius Dunn didn’t get the starting nod in last week’s win over Hernando High School, 35-21, but the 5’10”, 165 lb. junior said he liked coming off the bench.
“I think that really helped me,” Dunn said early this week. “I just played ball, and the line really made it happen for me.”
Dunn accounted for 25 of Rosa Fort’s points, passing for three touchdowns, rushing for another and then tacking on a PAT kick that was good. On the night, he was 19 of 30 passing for 299 yards and had six carries for 15 yards.
