Music sounds for CCC Homecoming
Although Coahoma Community College Homecoming 2011 promises a spectacular format Oct. 2 – 8 with music by the Mississippi Mass Choir, Bobby Rush, and a formal Presidential Gala with entertainment by Latimore, its focus is “at-risk” students.”
“The biggest influx of new students today are those struggling with 2.0 to 2.3 grade point averages,” says Dr. Greg Hudson, vice president of student affairs and support services.
“In particular, the Coahoma male is the student everyone overlooks,” continues Hudson. “We want to keep these students in school and see them graduate.”
