Festival combines fun, food, Delta finery
Tunica Main Street will host the 9th Annual Delta Day Festival in Historic Downtown Tunica on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9 am-5pm. This will be a day of fun, food, and family to be shared and enjoyed by all.
With many exciting activities and engaging games for the children, Delta Day is a great place for all ages. Infants to nine year olds are invited to arrive in their Halloween finest and participate in the Children’s Costume contest beginning at 10am. Afterwards, they can change into their best racing attire for the Children’s Tractor Pull contest at 2 pm, where they race old tractors for the winning trophy and the all important bragging rights. Judging will also take place for the scarecrows the creative grades at Tunica Academy are constructing.
