Hunger Games offers thrilling start to series
Vampires, werewolves and wizards are out. Post-apocalyptic, weapon wielding, revolutionary teenagers are in. At least that’s the way things are trending with Suzanne Collin’s latest series of books. The first of which, The Hunger Games, is scheduled to be released as a movie in March of 2012.
The books are aimed at a young adult audience, in the same vein as the Harry Potter and Twilight series. And although The Hunger Games is indeed no Harry Potter, it is a quick paced read with a plot so intriguing; you probably won’t put it down until your finished with it.
