Walkers, tournament take up battle against breast cancer
Sixty miles on foot may sound like an incredible journey, but for Kim Pettigrew it is just a small step to ending a terrible disease.
Pettigrew, who serves as the Food and Beverage Director at Tunica National Golf and Tennis Center, has committed to participate in the Susan G. Komen 3 day for the Cure in San Diego, California in November.
“Walking 60 miles is a bold statement that we hope will encourage others to support us in our efforts to help find a cure for a this disease that is so close to our hearts and affects the lives of so many,” Pettigrew said.
