Agritourism attractions bring True South alive in October
Agritourism at its finest and most authentic is an exciting part of the True South. It’s waiting to be explored and enjoyed right now in Mississippi. In October, the crisp mornings and pleasant fall days bring the True South alive and provide great opportunities to take in Mississippi’s agritourism attractions.
“Our agriculture and its proud heritage have not only flourished over the years, but have also produced a growing agritourism industry exhibiting some of the most enticing and diverse attractions in the country,” said Mary Beth Wilkerson, Director of the Mississippi Development Authority’s Tourism Division. “Visiting our agritourism sites is a great way to get a hands-on experience and learn how many things are grown, made and produced in a natural setting.”
