Firefighters prepare for worst
While farmers were getting ready to bring crops out of the field, emergency responders from all over the state were harvesting knowledge from a week long training exercise in Rankin County.
Chief Jimmie Neal and Firefighter/EMT Todd Brown of the North Tunica Fire Department were among those participating in activities. They joined with other members of Mississippi’s three Search and Rescue Task Forces to meet a challenge issued by the state’s Office of Homeland Security. That challenge? Be the best in safety, efficiency and technique.
