One Tunica resident has been proudly representing the U.S. and this county overseas off and on for almost a decade.
Clifton Gerald Taylor, a lifelong resident of Tunica County, served as a Phoenix Raven in the U.S. Air Force from December 2001 to January 2006. After serving in Kuwait as a Force Protection Officer for two years following his military career, Gerald returned home.
He was employed as a proud member of the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department for one year before being deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq to serve with TORRES AES as a Sierra Leone Guard Force Supervisor.
