FEMA: residents recovering
It’s not back to normal, but progress is being made at the Tunica Cutoff, according to FEMA representative Janet Strickland.
Strickland updated the Board of Supervisors on Nov. 7 and said the process of long term assistance and recovery was underway. A group has been formed to take care of unmet needs in nine counties, she said.
“They are in the process of putting together all resources for individuals,” Strickland said.
