Although I live in Florida now, my fondest memories of Thanksgiving are still as a child in Tunica. We would all go over to Grandmama’s house (that would be Mrs. Peggy Darby.) As soon as we walked into her kitchen the wonderful smells would envelope us. She was the best cook & hostess and seemed to do everything so effortlessly!
