NWCC hosts training for manufacturing
Area residents looking to gain the basic manufacturing skills needed to be considered for employment at emerging area industries are looking to Workforce Development at Northwest Mississippi Community College to provide them the manufacturing basic skills (MBS) certification program they need this February at the WIN Job Center in Southaven.
Pipe manufacturer Schulz Xtruded Products LP in Tunica; Soladigm, a supplier of next-generation green building solutions in Olive Branch; and Winchester in Oxford, have agreed to give additional consideration to job applicants who successfully complete the program.
