Harrison dedicates four decades to TFD
Tommy Harrison was recently honored by the Tunica Fire Department for 40 years of service.
Harrison, who joined the volunteer department on February 14, 1972, has served as an officer in all positions.
“I have never seen anyone who has more passion and love for our fire department than Tommy,” said former fire chief and longtime friend Ellis Koonce III, who joined the department a few months after Harrison. “He has done more for our department to make it better than anyone else has.”
