Wilkes sees purpose beyond cancer
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
That passage of scripture, which is found in Romans 8:28, has had a profound meaning in the life of Tunica businessman and cancer survivor Jack Wilkes.
“That was my wife’s favorite passage of scripture – and mine, too,” explained Wilkes, 86, a survivor of prostate cancer. “For years I didn’t know that we shared that together, but today I understand exactly what it means.”
