Tunica gears up for Friday’s Relay For Life
Tunica County will celebrate its first Relay For Life in two years Friday night, albeit a little shorter than normal.
The event, which benefits the American Cancer Society and is intended to create cancer awareness and build morale of cancer survivors, will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. inside the Battle Arena.
“We felt we’d have the best participation and the best experience between the hours of six and 10,” said Anne Coggins, co-chair of the Tunica County RFL Committee. “It’s going to be a night of food, fun and festivities.”
