Arrest made in armed robbery
Tunica County Sheriff’s deputies made a swift arrest following an armed robbery at a local business on March 26.
At 3:30 a.m., law enforcement officials were called to Shell/Wendy’s Service at Highway 61 and Casino Center. Witnesses at the scene reported that a chrome and nickel plated weapon was used in the crime. A suspect, Michael Bonsky of Memphis, was linked to the robbery. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business.
