Road Dept. modifies work week
The Tunica County Road Department will become the testing ground for a four day work week, following a 4 to 1 vote by the Board of Supervisors on April 2.
Road Department manager Joe Eddie Hawkins said he would like to institute four 10 hour days for workers until September 30 “as a trial period.”
Board president James Dunn asked what the benefits of the change would be.
