Local ready to rumble for good cause
There’s a championship belt at stake, and “The Cremator” intends to keep it at home in Tunica.
Local funeral director Scott Peeples will put on a different face come 7 p.m. Saturday, May 26, when he dons a somewhat sinister persona and takes to the wrestling ring in the feature event of the Stars and Stripes Battle at the Arena that he is promoting in association with Maximum Championship Wrestling.
The family-oriented evening is the first in what Peeples hopes is an ongoing series of wrestling events in Tunica.
“The theme is a tribute to America’s military and veterans,” Peeples says.
