John Allen is living proof that a horror story can have a happy ending.
While travelling on bike through Tunica County in early February, Allen and his dog Lady Marie were struck by a car, whose driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. The accident, which occurred about two miles south of Tunica, along Highway 61, left Allen critically injured and in the hospital for more than three weeks.
