Shurden among recent NWCC nursing grads
Becky Shurden of Tunica was among 50 Northwest Mississippi Community College Nursing students who participated in the pinning ceremony held May 10, 2012 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, celebrating their completion of the Associate of Arts in nursing.
After a processional and invocation lead by Cookie Turner, a class officer from Olive Branch, Dean of Nursing, Ellen Williams, welcomed attendees, presented the faculty and introduced the keynote speaker for the evening, Rosalyn Howard, executive director of the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, who offered the address to the graduates.
