Tunica County USDA Farm Service Agency Executive Director Aaron Robinson, announced that the nomination period for 2013 local FSA county committees began June 15, and end August 1.
“I urge all farmers and ranchers to participate in this year’s county committee elections by nominating candidates before the August 1 deadline,” said Robinson. “County committees are a vital link between the farm community and the Farm Service Agency. They provide landowners, farmers and ranchers with an opportunity for their opinions and ideas to be heard.”
