Officials brace for storm
While the Gulf Coast braced on Tuesday in preparation for Hurricane Isaac’s landfall, local officials were pondering the impact this latest tropical storm would have here at home as remnants of the storm began their slow trek northward.
Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Tunica County Director of Emergency Operations Randy Stewart said the effects of the storm were not expected to be serious for Tunica and the immediate area.
