Cookin with The Columns: A little bit of heaven
Angel food cake is my favorite cake! My grandmother, Bu, used to make them for me for my birthday every year. Sometimes she would add food coloring to make it pink, or sometimes she would put sprinkles in the batter so it would look like confetti. Not very often, but occasionally she would drizzle chocolate frosting over the top.
When I saw this easy two-ingredient recipe using angel food cake mix, I had to try it. It’s not the prettiest thing I have made, but sure was delicious.
