Following a local mother’s plea for action in the assault of her four year old, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department has announced an arrest and charges in the case.
Edward Malane, 14, of Clarksdale, is in custody in Tunica County for his alleged involvement in kidnapping, aggravated assault and child abuse on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Clayton Henderson Meadows/Calvin Norwood Estates. He is being held without bond.
“This case will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office for prosecution on the charges previously listed,” a press release from the Sheriff’s Department states.
