Board takes on residents’ concerns
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen got off to a trashy start in the month of May.
At their meeting on May 4, Mayor Chuck Cariker said there were some issues with garbage being generated by several local businesses.
“The businesses on the highway, we furnish two large cans,” Cariker said. “Anything that doesn’t fit in those, we require them to get a dumpster that the business is responsible for providing.”
