NWCC cosmetology program sees changes
One of the most popular career education programs offered at Northwest Mississippi Community College is cosmetology. The one-year certificate program is offered on the Senatobia, Oxford and Ashland campuses. This fall, the cosmetology department in Senatobia will make a fresh start with a new instructor and a new product line that will help students in their job searches after graduation.
At the end of June, longtime cosmetology instructor Regina Luellen retired. The college hired Danita Denson of Senatobia to join instructor Corine Newsom, who has been with the department full time since 2010.
