Driver receives regional ICS award
Ronnie Driver, director of nutrition at the Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS Head Start) was one of two staff members to receive an award at the Head Start Regional Conference in Atlanta, Ga. Driver stated that this was indeed an honor to first be recommended by ICS and then to be nominated as staff of the year.
Driver was hired in September 1996 as the Nutrition Coordinator; his job title was changed to Food Service Specialist in 2005. He was promoted to the director of nutrition in August 2012 and is currently working in that position. He celebrated his 17th year as a Head Start employee in September 2013.
