EOC plays vital role in county
Has anyone wondered about blue lights that have appeared within the past week or so in the night sky on the southeastern edge of Tunica?
If so, the mystery is solved. Operations Major Alec Clark of the county’s Emergency Operations Center said box cameras that went into service recently are responsible for the glow. Clark said the cameras are trained north and south on Highway 61 and that a similar camera looks at Casino Strip Boulevard near Robinsonville. The cameras were purchased with grant funds to help law enforcement in areas with heavy traffic congestion.
