CCC promotes health sciences
High school students from Cleveland and Clarksdale that are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare learned why they should make Coahoma Community College their first choice Wednesday.
Hosted by the Division of Health Sciences, the High School Day event was part of a new recruitment effort to show future health professionals the wide range of opportunities CCC has to offer. Seniors from Cleveland High School and Clarksdale High School toured CCC’s Health Sciences building and were given the opportunity to meet program directors and see demonstrations. The students had all expressed interests in the healthcare field and are currently enrolled in an Allied Health program at their respective schools.
