TA class leaps into anatomy

On May 1, eighth graders from Tunica Academy went on a field trip to the Memphis Zoo and participated in a lively class about frog anatomy. These students partook in a dissection and a discussion of comparing and contrasting what they saw in the frog with human anatomy. Students also went on a scavenger hunt to learn new and interesting facts about animal behavior, adaptations and the importance of conservation.
