Insurance switch causing confusion
When Tunica County employees tried to get prescriptions filled last week and called a telephone number they were provided by county agent of record Nick Floyd, they were told they weren’t in the new carrier’s system. That was scary for many employees and their families.
“My son has asthma and needs attention,” Commander Cedric Davis of the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department said, “and medications and doctors aren’t available. We’re being told that we’re not covered.”
