CJ Dunn makes elite U.S. team
Fifteen year old Cordell “CJ” Dunn, Jr., son of former Tunica Countian Cordell Dunn, is playing baseball all the way to Mexico and the World Baseball Softball Confederation “AA” 15 and Under World Cup.
The USA 16U National Team – and starting catcher Dunn – took back to back wins from the N.W. Stampede Sunday and Monday and is now making its way to Phoenix, AZ, for an exhibition game this week. From there, the team travels to Mazatlan, Mexico, hoping to capture the ultimate title in play July 31 through August 10. The squad will face Panama, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan and Germany in pool play.
