A recent Hinds County Chancery Court ruling has put the quietus on drilling just off the coast of Mississippi and that’s a good thing.
Mississippi doesn’t have much coastline to begin with and what coast we do have is in tough competition with clearer water just down the road in Florida. Mottling the view with a bunch of oil derricks is a horrible idea.
