Effort by CCC students to place marker at local library pays off
CLARKSDALE – The idea of one Coahoma Community College student, coupled with the action of CCC’s Social Science Club and the support of the community, has made a campaign to place a historical marker outside of Clarksdale’s public library a success.
Eddie Wyatt of Clarksdale was the inspiration behind a project to place a historical marker, detailing the history of its founding, outside of Clarksdale’s Carnegie Library.
