Town in the dark

A two-hour power outage plunged the town of Tunica and surrounding areas into darkness from about 10 p.m. to midnight last Saturday night, Sept. 25.
Utility officials said Monday that the outage was caused by equipment failure on a transmission line between Senatobia and Tunica.
