March Madness has come early, as the the Rosa Fort basketball teams have played six games in 10 days time. (More recaps next week.)
On Nov. 6, both teams kicked off the season. The Lions delivered a 79-77 win over West Tallahatchie after an exciting overtime.
The boys trailed 11-18 in the first and were behind 29-36 in the third. They were down 45-51. The Lions rallied in the fourth, posting 24 points to West Tally’s 18. A shot by Tevin Bingham at the end of the fourth quarter sent the Lions into overtime, where they bested their challenger.
