The Foundation for the Mid South announced recently that the two Mississippi grant recipients of the 2010 Foundation for the Mid South Do-Gooders campaign. 
Both nonprofit organizations will receive $50,000 grants to further their efforts to improve lives.
Foundation for the Mid South Do-Gooders was created to generate enthusiasm around the good deeds of nonprofits and individuals in the Mid South—Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. A total of $300,000 was granted in the region ($100,000 in each state)— press conferences were also held simultaneously in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to announce grant recipients from those states.
