For the second consecutive year, Tunica Academy’s varsity football team finished as North A runners-up, falling to Tri-County Academy on November 19.
The Blue Devils came into the contest at 8-3, with wins in the play-offs over Greenville Christian and Winona to advance to the North A final.
In the regular season, TA notched district wins over  Marvell and Lee (AR) and nonconference wins over Strider, Hillcrest, West Memphis and Bayou. The Devils’ only losses came at the hands of AA opponents North Delta and Marshall and district nemesis DeSoto.
