Murphree hearing postponed

A Tunica mother’s second appearance in court has been rescheduled for Jan. 11, 2011, according to the District Attorney’s office in Memphis.
Angela Murphree was scheduled to appear in general sessions court on Tuesday, Dec. 14 for a mental evaluation hearing. Jennifer Donaldson of the DA’s office said that the hearing will determine whether Murphree is competent to stand trial. Once the judge issues a finding, the next step is a preliminary hearing.
