Cookin with The Columns: Something warm
This is a great time of the year for hot chocolate.
When I was little, my mother made “real” hot chocolate with milk and Hershey’s chocolate syrup. The kind you buy in the little packages is good too, but this recipe is handy to use because you can make it stronger if you like it that way, just by adding a little more mix to your cup of hot water. It’s also less expensive than the little packages if you drink a lot of hot chocolate, and also makes a nice gift to share with a neighbor on a cold winter day.
