NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund Regulations, a public hearing will be held in the Town Hall, Tunica, Mississippi, at 6:00 P.M., February 17, 2011 for the purpose of reporting the findings of the Drinking Water Facilities Plan.  The Facilities Plan proposes alternative solutions to the replace and/or rehabilitate the existing distribution system composed of asbestos cement pipe and other pipe not meeting present day standards and construct three (3) new wells.  These facilities are owned and operated by the Town of Tunica.  The location of the affected area is the corporate limits of the Town of Tunica and the fringe areas served by the water distribution system.
